On the plate

Rehearsing for my Arabian pas de deux in this season`s Nutcracker show. You can totally tell that I lost my technique, but I`m still trying to learn it back!

Also, I am fairly certain that I am addicted to french fries, and that I have developed a nasty cough from too much of it. I am also increasing my daily caffeine consuption from 2 cups to 3 cups, and my heart is starting to not care. Is this what becomes of a working girl???

Lastly, I am now takeing food shots and annoying whoever accompanies me on meals by stalling the satisfaction of their hungry appetites on my requests for photos.

Pictures above are from Ginza, my favorite Japanese resto in Cebu. The ones below are from Ristras, my favorite mexican resto in Manila.

I`m not even gonna bother putting watermarks in these photos cause I don`t think anyone would wanna steal them anyway! haha

Exactly that

I was finally able to work whit the cute Rachel Alcantara from my last minute shoot a few months back. Rachel has been amazing to take a whole set of photos in 30 minutes or less! Its super efficient and convenient, expecially when you have a lot to do. We went over to a park in Quezon City (if Im not mistaken, its called Ninoy Aquino Park), and had our shoot there. I was suprised to find such nice scenery and a very senere where lovers secretly cuddled beside. Save for the annoying teenage boys who kept shouting and whistling at us, I think it was pritty darn great for 8 pesos.

One incher

A few days back, Edric decided to call on a few friends to have a ''lookbook photoshoot''. It was fun toto get the girls together again and to the thing we all love to do together. It was nice meeting fellow lookbooker, Ira too! We themed the shoot edgy and decided to use black as a connecting colour. Unfortunately, I didn`t bring heels or any edgy black clothes to Manila. Thank God for Michael Antonio, WAGW and the Rockwell Urban Bazaar for being such great suppliers! haha.

I totally couldn`t resist getting some coffee and cookies while waiting for the shoot to finish! One of the reasons why I love Pioneer studios is because of their quirky stuff and awesome food!

You all know my sister, photos of Kryz are a regular feature on this blog. She loves being in photos and I love takeing them, It`s a good deal. When she told me she wanted to have a shoot whit her loving boyfriend I thought this would be a great time to I`d introduce you to the man who makes her heart go ba-bump.

Most of the time Mike and Kryz are like two little kids playing house, but then they share these quiet moments that couples who`ve been together ages would be envious of. When she smiles, he smiles. When he`s quiet, she`s quiet. And when she extends her had towards him, he knows to be ready for a thumb war. If that`s not love then what is? x

This is the first in a series of shoots we did so you can expect to see a lot more from these two in the days to follow.

Posting these separately because they just felt so different compared to the rest of the set. To me, these have a more old telanovela feel to them so I decided to go whit different colour treatment and a heavier vignette for that dramatic pop. The best part about the whole thing was getting to work whit my best friend again (who has the amazing ability to sell all the clothes in her collection in a matter of minutes) Gillian, where ever you are, I miss you!!

And no, we dont usually dress like cowgirls. The last two shots were takeing for Armand`s separate project.

Ola Cebu! I am back!

Such a long day at work! I needed to finish everything by today because tomorrow, I have a super cool styling gig for a totally gorgeous A list celebrity whom I absolutely adore! Exited much!! Can´t tell you who it is though, even if I really wanted to. Will spill the beans come October! Meanwhile, here`s anorher photo by the awesome Edric Chen!
